Bagi sesiapa yang terlepas emel yang lepas, insyaAllah ini merupakan emel terakhir sebelum saya ambil 1-month sabbatical leave pada bulan September.

Untuk recap emel playbook sebelum ini:

Dalam edisi kali ni saya kongsikan blueprint/SOP yang saya sendiri bina untuk brand dan client saya supaya saya boleh bercuti dengan tenang. Usually saya akan charge RM1500 tapi sempena nak pergi umrah ini, saya kongsikan secara percuma sahaja. Doakan saya dapat umrah yang mabrur.

3 MARKETING TIPS

1. Quick Creative Optimization Framework

If CTR < 1% (after 1000+ impressions):

  • Immediate action: Pause ad, create 2-3 new variations

  • Focus areas: Test different opening hooks (problem-focused vs solution-focused), switch format (static → video or video → carousel), try UGC content if using product shots

  • Quick win: Use pattern interrupt - start with controversial statement or unexpected visual

If CTR good (>1.5%) but CPC/CPA high:

  • Root cause: Traffic quality okay, tapi ada isu dekat conversion funnel

  • Landing page optimization: Improve above-the-fold content, add social proof, simplify checkout process

  • Product page fixes: Better product descriptions, add FAQ section, optimize for mobile experience

  • Quick test: A/B test different CTAs or reduce form fields

If CTR & CPC/CPA good but ROAS low:

  • Diagnosis: Getting cheap, converting traffic but profit margins tak cukup

  • Immediate fixes: Add customer reviews/testimonies prominently, create urgency with limited-time offers

  • Revenue boosters: Introduce upsells/cross-sells, test higher-priced product variants. AOV main peranan besar kat sini.

  • Trust signals: Add money-back guarantee, display security badges, show customer numbers (contoh: Lebih 5,000 orang telah guna produk ini).

If Thumbstop <25% (for video ads):

  • Hook problems: First 3 seconds tak engaging sangat

  • Pattern interrupt tactics: Start with unexpected statement, use text overlay with bold claims, open with customer transformation

  • Visual hooks: Bright colors, fast cuts, or contrasting elements in opening scene

  • Audio hooks: Catchy music, sound effects, atau direct address "Hey, if you're struggling with..."

2. Daily Morning Creative Health Check

Implement daily monitoring routine:

  • Check CTR, CPM, ROAS, Budget Spend setiap pagi

  • If >1000 impressions OR >3 days running → evaluate performance

  • Kalau performance drop, terus pause ads dan perform diagnosis + execution planning

3. High vs Low Performing Ad Analysis

Beberapa hari yang lalu, saya ada test Google Gemini untuk review beberapa video ads yang perform dan juga yang under-perform. Boleh guna prompt ni:

These are some of our top performing ads for [BRAND]. Watch them and identify common trends and patterns across the videos that humans might miss

Now watch these [BRAND] ads that didn't perform well and identify what the high performers do differently from the low performers

Contoh client: IMAN (industri buku)

Nota: Boleh guna sebagai part of diagnosis dan analisa ads kita. Bagi saya, it's good starting points sebab dia percuma. Saya guna ini sekali dengan Atria untuk complete the whole analysis experience.

2 MARKETING GEMS

1. Creative Performance Decision Tree

Bila checklist dan SOP semata-mata tak cukup, maka kita pun create decision tree ini untuk bantu proses optimize dan review ads:

Daily Check Process:

  • CTR < 1% for 3 days + Impressions >1000 → PAUSE IMMEDIATELY, create new creative

  • ROAS < 2 for 3 days + CPA > RM10-RM15 (bergantung pada profit margin)→ Optimize product page (description, offer/promo, reviews)

  • ROAS > 3 for 3 days + CPA < RM10-RM15 → Scale up, duplicate ads, insert to CBO scaling campaign

Result tracking framework:

  • Monitor for next 3 days after optimization

  • Monitor for next 7-14 days for scaling campaign

2. The Creative Testing Matrix

Simple approach untuk test creative systematically:

Apa yang nak test:
✅ Hook - 3 saat pertama video tu paling penting
✅ Format - static, video, atau carousel
✅ Offer - discount vs create urgency
✅ UGC vs professional content

Rutin testing:

  • Test new creative every 3-4 hari

  • Kalau menang, biar running minimum seminggu

  • Yang tak perform lepas 1000+ impressions? Turn off je

Benchmark yang aku guna:

  • CTR: >1.5% okay lah, >2% excellent

  • ROAS: >3 terus scale up

  • Thumbstop: >25% keep running
