"And just like that, January 2024 has come to a close." Sound familiar? I added my own twist to that. 😄
I hope you’re still holding to your New Year's Resolution. My main focus this year is to DO more instead of KNOW more.
Just a heads up, I will write this month’s newsletter edition in English. I know, I know. I know I’ve said that one of the reasons I started this newsletter is to train my writing in Bahasa Melayu. Well, guess what? Life happens so here we are.

3 MARKETING TIPS
The growth of Reels, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
The increasing integration of AI in various marketing stages, including copywriting, concept creation, and analytics.
The ongoing use of diverse channels and tools by brands to connect with customers and provide value.
2. Assess older content and either update, refresh, revise, or retire.
Update your content when the majority of it is still relevant, but some information is outdated.
Refresh your content when it is still relevant and not outdated, but the graphics, structure, or format could use an update.
Revise your content when the post is no longer relevant due to updated technology or industry changes.
Retire your content when it's no longer salvageable. Consider redirecting the URL to a newer piece of content that's more relevant.
3. How to improve your copy?
The next time you write copy for ads, sales pages, or a VSL, consider taking a break from it for a few hours or even a few days.
When you come back to it, carefully read through the content word-for-word. Take note of the sections that feel skippable and consider deleting them.
To further improve the copy, consider showing it to someone who has never read it before and ask them which parts they skipped.
